Mother’s Day feels a wee bit different this year.
That’s probably because it’s my last one as a mom of two…
Yup! You heard it here first… our family is growing! We are beyond excited to announce the upcoming arrival of our baby girl.
You may have noticed the lack of posts here lately. I’ve had a lot of words to get out, but I’ve been feeling extremely drained throughout the first trimester. My days have encompassed multiple naps, 8pm bedtimes, and ongoing nausea. If the last 14 weeks are any indication, this little girl is going to be a FORCE (and an unapologetic feminist, if her Mama holds any sway).
Now that I’m in my second trimester, I’m hoping for an upswing of energy and increased feelings of wellness. Now that I’m starting to feel better, I’m looking forward to all the little nuances of this final pregnancy experience. I’ll tell you something, it’s been a trip to see my bump pop for the first time in 6 years. Right now it kind of looks like I’ve eaten one too many burritos, but it’s pretty special to know something is indeed growing inside of me again. I’ll post pictures soon!
We cannot wait for our little darling to make her debut this November! Her big sister and big brother are more than ready to meet her, cuddle her, and help her grow.
We’ve been writing our love story for some time now, but here’s to the sweetest, wildest, most magical chapter yet… the one where we complete our little family.
